Award-winning Nigerian Highlife singer, instrumentalist, live performer, and the head of Ichaka Records Anyidons continues to evolve his sound through another fresh project titled “Splendid.”
The talented entertainer returns with a four-track mini project that gives his fans a chance to enjoy more of his music. Rather than release just one new song, Anyidons has put together a short collection with different titles and guest appearances. The project also features some familiar faces in the Nigerian music scene, which makes the release even more interesting for lovers of Highlife and good African music.
“Splendid” comes with two guest appearances from talented Nigerian music stars. Popular singer and songwriter Duncan Mighty joins Anyidons on track 2, “Overdose,” while skilled Highlife singer Odenigbo appears on track 3, “Odogwu.”
The mini project opens with “Ije Love Remix,” a refreshed version of one of Anyidons’ impressive songs. The fourth and final track is titled “Onvema (Before Before),” which completes the four-song collection.
A good recommendation can save someone the time of searching through countless releases to find something worth hearing. If this latest EP catches your interest, consider sharing it with friends who enjoy keeping up with new music. You might be the reason another listener discovers an artist they will enjoy for years.
