Popular Nigerian Afropop singer-songwriter and the head of ShowBobo Music, HumbleSmith has refreshed fans and music lovers’ playlists with his latest studio project titled “Mr Melody.”
The project comes after a series of releases from HumbleSmith as he continues to reconnect with his audience. One of the songs from the EP, “Bolingo,” had already been released earlier and features skilled Nigerian highlife singer Umu Obiligbo. The song was produced by talented Nigerian producer Vstix and later became part of the new project.
HumbleSmith then built more interest around the EP with “Moment,” his latest release and the sixth track on the project. The song gives fans another taste of what to expect from Mr Melody and helps set the stage for the full six-track collection.
The EP opens with “Aso Oke,” followed by “Jealousy” and “Baby Fire” as the second and third tracks. The fourth song, “Pressure,” keeps the project moving before “Bolingo” takes the fifth position. The only guest appearance comes on this track, with the talented and respected highlife artist Umu Obiligbo joining HumbleSmith. The final track, “Moment,” closes the six-song project.
Most of the EP was handled by Nigerian record producer DALORBEATS, who produced tracks 1, 2, 3, 4, and 6. VSTIX took charge of the production of track 5, “Bolingo.” All six songs were mixed and mastered by ZegzMix.
