Lovn, a rapidly rising Nigerian singer-songwriter and one of the talented artists recently signed under Mavin Records, drops a well-crafted project that adds to his growing catalog titled “SOUNDBENDER.”

The new album serves as Lovn’s debut project and comes with nine tracks that give him enough space to explore different sounds and sides of his personality. Across the project, he touches on love, heartbreak, money, self-worth, success, and the need to protect his peace while chasing his goals. Rather than staying with one sound, Lovn moves through different styles while keeping his own sound at the centre of the album.

He then moves to “SORRY I’M BUSY” before bringing talented Nigerian singer Ayanfe into the third track, “OVER THE NIGHT.” Their collaboration carries a mix of West African sounds and a different style of production that gives the song its own feel.

At number four is “DON’T LEAVE ME,” which features rising Nigerian singer Amaeya. The song focuses on love and the fear of losing someone important, with Amaeya adding her vocals to Lovn’s emotional delivery. Lovn then continues alone on “KONSE,” the fifth track, where he touches on the connection between happiness, money, and the things people need to survive.

The sixth track, “OMO TI O COMMON II,” features popular Nigerian singer L.A.X and skilled Apala singer Terry Apala. The song gives Lovn another chance to speak confidently about success, money, and his place in the music scene. It also serves as a follow-up to the earlier “OMO TI O COMMON,” which appears later on the album.

Lovn continues the project with “AVAILABLE,” where he brings a playful side to the album while also touching on relationships and unfaithfulness. The eighth track, “DO NOT DISTURB (DND),” takes a different direction as he speaks about protecting his peace and staying focused on his career. The song shows that success can also come with the need to keep certain people and distractions away.

The album closes with “OMO TI O COMMON,” the original version of the song that later received a sequel featuring L.A.X and Terry Apala. Its inclusion at the end gives listeners another chance to hear the song that helped introduce the idea behind “OMO TI O COMMON II.”
