Popular and amazing Ghanaian artist, songwriter, and entertainer, Kelvyn Boy adds more music to his growing collection with a new sophomore studio project titled “2nd Step.”

After almost a decade in the music industry, Kelvyn Boy has built a name for himself by exploring different sounds while keeping his Ghanaian roots close to his music. On “2nd Step,” he looks at how far he has come and celebrates the success he has achieved through years of hard work.

The album begins with “Jehova,” where Kelvyn Boy gives thanks to God for the journey and success he has enjoyed so far. Track three, “I,” features talented Ghanaian rapper Lalid and award-winning hip-hop artist Strongman, as they join him on a more thoughtful song.

Kelvyn Boy then brings popular Ghanaian rapper Medikal into the project on “Allo,” the fourth track. Next comes “Sorry,” featuring talented singer Mellisa on track five, before Kelvyn Boy takes listeners into a more personal side of his story with “Ability,” which holds the sixth position.

The seventh track, “Millions,” features gifted Ghanaian singer-songwriter Cina Soul, whose amazing vocals add another feel to the song. The collaboration also gives the album a softer moment with its mix of guitars and gentle percussion. At number eight is “All Over,” where popular Ghanaian Afrobeat and Highlife singer Kuami Eugene joins Kelvyn Boy for another impressive collaboration.

The album continues with “1942” at number nine, another song where Kelvyn Boy shows his confidence and reflects on the rewards that have come with his journey. He then teams up with rising Ghanaian artist KOJO BLAK on “Weather For 2,” the tenth track, which brings a more romantic side to the project. The last two songs are “Blueticks” and “Hallelujah,” which take the eleventh and twelfth spots respectively.

Across the twelve songs on “2nd Step,” Kelvyn Boy mixes Afrobeats, highlife, hip-hop, and other Ghanaian sounds about his life and career.
