“Let That Sink In (LTSI)” is the latest impressive and well-crafted sixth solo album by Phyno, a popular Nigerian rapper, singer-songwriter, record producer, and the head of Penthauze Music. The new album contains 15 tracks, with contributions from some of the finest names in Nigerian music.
The new album follows the success of Phyno’s 2024 album, “Full Time Job,” another 15-track body of work that featured notable artists such as Cheque, Chip, Fave, ArrDee, Flavour, Hushpuppi, NSG, Burna Boy, and Johnny Drille. With “Let That Sink In (LTSI),” the veteran rapper builds on that release and gives listeners another collection of songs to enjoy. A closer look at the new album also shows that Phyno has stayed true to his roots, with several song titles written in Igbo. This reflects his strong connection to indigenous rap and his commitment to keeping his language and culture alive through music, even as he works with artists from different musical backgrounds.
The album opens with “Ndu Ka Aku,” featuring famous Nigerian street-pop singer and songwriter Seyi Vibez. On this first track, Phyno speaks about hard work and prays for greater success and blessings for himself and his loved ones. The two singers have worked together before, as Phyno was featured on “Highlife Interlude,” the sixth track on Seyi Vibez’s 2023 project, “Thy Kingdom Come.” Three years later, they reunite, with Seyi Vibez appearing on the opening song of Phyno’s new album.
The second song, “Ndewo,” features popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Wande Coal. It is followed by “Beautiful,” a solo track that was released before the album and produced by skilled Nigerian record producer Niphkeys. Phyno then moves to “Next of Kin,” the fourth song, before delivering “Na Afa Nna (Freestyle)” at number five. Also produced by Niphkeys, this freestyle was released as the lead single ahead of the album. On the track, Phyno speaks about his success, the people around him, and his place in the music industry.
At number six is “Nwa Aturu,” a highlife-influenced song where Phyno asks for mercy. He follows it with “Magret,” featuring gifted Nigerian singer Oxlade. The seventh track adds another talented voice to the album. Next is “20 Years to Come,” where Phyno speaks about the country’s problems and pays respect to the hard work and strength of his people. He also talks about how Nigerians continue to find ways to survive despite the challenges they face. The ninth song, “Bom Bom,” features talented Nigerian Afro-fusion singer and songwriter Lojay, whose appearance adds to the album’s list of guest performers.
The tenth track is “Chukwu Okike,” another song with an Igbo title. Here, Phyno speaks about his belief in God and encourages listeners to keep hoping and praying for better days. He then teams up with popular Nigerian singer and songwriter Fireboy DML, who is signed to YBNL Nation, on “I Believe.” The song takes the eleventh position before Phyno returns with “Healing,” the twelfth track. Produced by Phyno himself, this song talks about the pain of losing someone close and gives listeners a look at a more personal side of the rapper.
At number thirteen, Phyno joins talented Nigerian singer and songwriter Chike on “Kryptonite.” He then works with talented Nigerian rapper Jeriq, the head of Iyoo Cartel, on “Ije Enu.” As the fourteenth track, their collaboration brings together two Igbo rappers who share a love for indigenous hip-hop. The album ends with “Ask Of Me,” also known as “Ask Of Me Now.” The song was produced by skilled record producer Jswarg and first released in October 2025 before taking the final spot on this new album.
In conclusion, this Phyno sixth solo album is another chance to add something different to your usual choices and find out if it suits your taste. Your next playlist update could start with a song you had not planned to hear.
