Yemi Alade, one of Nigeria’s gifted Afropop artists and performers signed to Effyzzie Music, has continued to make her mark with an impressive new sixteen-track album titled “It’s Yemi Alade.”

The album opens with “Alhaja” as the first track, followed by “General Market” at Track 2. At Track 3, Yemi Alade features popular Congolese singer and songwriter Ferre Gola on “Coco na Yam.” The song adds a strong African connection to the project as the two artists share their voices on a track inspired by Congolese music.

Yemi Alade then moves to “Yemi Mi Lova” at Track 5, where she teams up with talented Nigerian singer and record producer Spyro. “Ala Bekee” follows at Track 6 and features legendary Nigerian producer and Mavin Records founder Don Jazzy. The song had already been released before the full album and gives the project another well-known Nigerian music figure.

“Owa” takes the seventh spot, while “Minister of Enjoyment” comes next. At Track 9, Yemi Alade joins forces with popular Kenyan singer and songwriter Bien on “Don’t Be Shy.” The album then continues with “Titanium” at Track 10. This song shows a softer R&B side of Yemi Alade while she still keeps some of the African style that runs through the album.

“Worry” takes the fifteenth spot and features gifted Nigerian singer and songwriter Fave. The album then closes with “Shawa Shawa (Ashawo),” the sixteenth and final track.
